The Orlando Open-Day 1

Orlando Unresolved-Day 1
Oh yes! There was rain. Those who pitched a tent could likely give you a far more personal communication on that front. I missed most of the players meeting doing last flash course projects and in the process forgot to prepare a listing of announcements. The list would need this as the first entry… “Start a bibliography”.
I told them about some slippery old carpet (mostly walkways) that I just didn’t have spell to replace and said “have fun”.
Big Announcement…As of this morning, the normal “What I failed to mention” segment is expanding into the jock meeting market!

What I failed to mention… “Those playing from the desire tees on T-2 the first round will be throwing from CARPET tees. Since they are the BLUE tees, tee only from the cobalt gloomy carpet. Not gray, green, red, not even faded light gloomy. “
See, I also use other neutral colored carpet for walkways, staging areas and principally for the follow-through in front of the tee…to avoid front end erosion. We have some golf holes with perfectly waxen sugar sand surrounds a basket and the subsequent pro tee. The carpet helps with corroding control. I built an entire green with carpet to cut down on grinding on the very first hole.
Those experiencing difficulties in grasping the concept behind color-coding serve to feel that any area carpets are free to tee from. nay nay. Here is a Gold Tee (that I’ve sufficiently good of hidden on the course) notice the green carpet at either end for attrition control at either end of the actual GOLD tee. The side benefit (front and back, really) is lose longer run-up area and a bit of a follow-through area up front.

Glendoverr, 10/25
Kyle and I had been shy of to golf together for a while, so off we headed to Glendoveer. 18 holes, walking. My target for the day was to break 100, something I have never done for 18.
First hole is a short, 275 yard par 4 with an cheerful green, sand short and right. I had a nice 240 yard effort, pitched on, 2 putt for par. Good start. Kyle went way auspicious with his drive and struggled, finally taking a snowman. Ouch.
The surrogate hole is also short, about 242 yards with sand in front and to both sides of the grassy. I had maybe a 200 yard drive, another pitch, 2 putts, par. Kyle also scored a par on this indentation, which was cool.
3 is a tight fairway with some fairway bunkers and to a dropped rural that has blind areas in front. I went right unfortunately far, had a arrant approach, 2 putt, par. Kyle also scored a par.
#4 is a 154 yard par 3 that is good short and straight. We both chunked our tee shots, it took 2 to get on, 2 putts apiece, a team a few of bogeys. At this point I am pumped. 1 over after 4 holes is mammoth for me.
#5 is where it gets tough. Both sides have trees that make the fairway tight. It is only 268 yards, but you cannot separated too far. Well, Kyle pulled out his 3-wood and said, "I am going to leap it off that tree and be in the fairway." And promptly hit the very tree he pointed at and bounced back into the fairway. So I pulled my inoculation left, it would have been great except there was exactly one branch I could hit...and I did which knocked 40 yards off my proceed. I was still in the fairway. Pitch, putt, putt. Par, Kyle not so suitable.
Hole #6 is a 357 yard par 4 that is again very tight. I had a pure meltdown. Poor drive, weak second vaccination, I think 5 to get on and a 3 putt. Suddenly my great round had a snowman. Pitiful Kyle did little better, scoring a 7.
Hole #7 is 335 yards and even tighter. I sliced and was behind some trees, but had a bead on the formerly larboard side of the green. I punched out onto the green, 2 putt, par.
Discrepancy #8...

Golf Etiquette the Unwritten Rules
Customs is very important in the world of golf. It is the basic rights you show to other golfers whether watching or playing. This is my guide to the unwriiten rules of golf.
This article will guide you through the basics of courtesy. As when you first start golf there are many unwritten rules that you have to find out for yourself this guide will help find out these unauthorized rules instead of learning the hard and making the mistakes yourself.
Playing the event before you tee off
1. Be ready to play your shot when it is your turn. Make unshakeable you have all your equipment ready to go this includes golf club, glove tee and ball - this will tear the game up.
2. Turn your mobile phone off - A lot of golf clubs will not let them to be on on the course or in the 19th (clubhouse).
3. Be still when others are hitting a shot and make secure shadow is not in their vision.
4. Wait until the playing group up ahead are out of range before teeing off.
5. Stand facing the person playing, but behind the track of the ball - then you will not put them off and this the safest place for you to be.
6. Check the local rules on the back of the scorecard.
7. Keep golf trolleys and buggys off tees and greens as this can hurt them for other players.
8. In strokeplay competitions, the teeing off order on each donjon is determined by the best score on the previous hole. The ourselves with best score has the 'honour' and goes first followed by the 2nd A- score and so on. In matchplay, the person or pair who win a hole have the approbation on the next tee.
Now playing on the course
1. After the tee shots, the player who hit the ball the shortest plays first.
2. Put your divots back, fix up pitch marks on the green and rake bunkers after you have inured to them.
3. On the green, do not stand or walk across another players line of putt.
4. Before putting...

Lakeland Week 1 update
Hi everyone,
My first week in Lakeland is wrapping up. I competed in a SunCoast Series happening at Huntington Hills, which is one of the courses we will compete on for Duramed Futures Voyage qualifying. Check out full results.
I shot rounds of 77-79-77 to dispose of T27th. I have continued my streak of 8 rounds in a row under 80, which is definitely encouraging. What I compassion I would do is tell you about my week in the Good, Better, How format. If you about I used this way of analyzing my play in an earlier blog entr.
What was GOOD this week:
Putting-I averaged 29.3 putts/orotund. Anything under 30 is pretty solid.Driving-I hit 85% of achievable fairways this week.Up & Downs-I was able to get up and down for par 64% of the then and during the 1st round alone I got up and down 8 out of 11 times. Consistency-Made 14 pars each unvarnished. Really pleased with the steadiness.Decisiveness-Played briskly and assertively, with self-reliance. This has been a goal of mine.Transistion-Was pleased with my transistion back to Florida golf...bermuda nark and windy conditions are not typical during everyday play up north!
What I could have done Healthier:
Over par holes- I had 2 doubles and 1 triple over the three rounds. Need to decrease my bad holes into bogey...no worse.Birdies- Not that you can control the putts falling in but I typically set up a birdie or two per round. Greens in Regulation (GIR)-Averaged 38% over three rounds. This needs rise!
HOW I will prepare for next week:
Drills-Will continue to work on my ball splendid to sharpen my irons.Putting-Will work on mechanics and separate control for long putts but also on specific drills to "elect" putts. For example, I like the 8 birdie drill. Setup 8 tees around a cup anywhere from 3-20 feet. Customary through your routine, see how many of these birdie opportunities you can make.
It was a good week and with a bit more sparkle (and less doubles/triples and more birdies!) I will be in good shape for this coming week for the SunCoast anyhow at Imperial Lakes.

The Showdown
An indubitably sun drenched afternoon at the traditional finishing post, Cotgrave Masters, the venue for a favourable and youthful 13. Dessaur was hoping for some ‘ginger moment’ – cloud cover! As the sun beat relentlessly down. A midweek call from the pro donation a switch to the Open course due to the poor state of the greens was turned down, nothing to do with A.T. sitting pretty in ze Atrocious Forest trying to make it more favourable!
It was a hive of occupation as an air of excitement swept the fairways with news that Meadows was in city, minus 4 iron after trying a spot of late evensong DIY but completely shafting it... The main man seem unfazed and had spell to spare around the practice green. Trev looked active a 5 o' clock wake up call and pre-game jog all part of the new fitness regime.
None could Nautical tack the eager beavers of Duffin and Vin who arrived at 9.30, the latter not storing the premature evenings phone call to brother Tuckwell as to the 11.30 tee off… Where is everyone? Couldn’t even pin it on the clocks effective back! Still if the bars open...
Naaman made another splendid return with clubs on billet moped as did Wood Jnr making his season debut and positive best turned out: a post round change of clothes – critical touch!

The young bucks of Duffin, Wood, Vin and Naaman flew out the traps in a conflagration of sunshine before the photographer could arrive. Naaman the first to show with his broad shoulders generating some power and preciseness for a blinding 12 point 4 hole showing and even bigger grin than normal.
All 4 filled their boots on 2 - a tasty par for Vin notched a bumper 4 heart haul. Naaman plateaud with a disappointing run of 2 pointers as everyones white-headed boy...
